to the first circle of Hell - Limbo. Here reside virtuous pagans and unbaptized children.
You shouldn't be too concerned, though. You're in good company. Here in Limbo with
you is Homer, author of the Iliad and the Odyssey, and the philosophers Plato, Socrates
and Aristotle. These wise men live in a castle at the centre of the first circle, which inside
contains a beautiful meadow. Overall, not a bad place to end up. But will you remain in Limbo?
Or will you sink further into the depths of Hell?
